Join E.G. Fisher Public Library for Storytime each week for books, songs, crafts, rhymes, hands-on activities, and early literacy tips for caregivers! Storytimes are in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We also post virtual Storytime videos on Facebook and the library’s Youtube page. All Storytimes and programs are free!
Family Storytime – Mondays at 12:30 PM
Family storytime engages children birth to age 8 in books, interactive stories, songs,
and games each week. This program helps children build pre-reading and school skills
like letter recognition, taking turns, listening, fine motor skills, and more.
Caregivers will learn early literacy tips to prepare children for future reading success.
Preschool Storytime – Tuesdays at 10:30 AM
Preschool Storytime engages children ages 3 to 5 in books, interactive stories, songs, and crafts
each week. This program helps children build school skills like letter recognition, taking turns,
listening, fine motor skills, and more.
Baby Bookworms Storytime – Thursdays at 10:30 AM
Join families with babies ages 0 to 2 every Thursday for stories, songs, baby sign language, and
more! Baby Bookworms introduces children birth to 2 years old to the library through books,
songs, rhymes, and playtime. Caregivers will learn early literacy tips while baby learns to
interact with other children.
Toddler Storytime – Fridays at 10:30 AM
Get the wiggles out with music, interactive stories, bubbles, and more each week! Toddlers will
be introduced to books, songs, counting practice, interactive stories, parachute play, and more.
Toddler Storytime is targeted to children ages 1-3 years old.
Bilingual Storytime – Second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 PM
Join the library for a family-oriented Bilingual Storytime on the second Wednesday of each month.
Children will explore stories, flannel games, songs and sensory activities while also exploring
the Spanish language. Bilingual Storytimes provide early literacy skills. It also can provide
Spanish speaking families a sense of cultural familiarity through books, rhymes, and songs.
Bilingual Storytime will have an English-speaking storyteller and a Spanish-speaking storyteller.

Baby Bookworms Storytime Playlist
Baby Bookworms introduces children birth to 2 years old to the joy of reading through read aloud books, songs, and rhymes. Caregivers an interact with baby through guided finger-plays and lap bounces.
STEM Storytime encourages children ages 3 to 6 to explore the world around them through simple science, technology, engineering, and math activities. After stories and songs, families will receive instructions for a hands-on STEM activity. All STEM activities can be completed with simple materials found around the house or the outdoors.
Preschool Storytime engages children ages 3 to 5 in books, interactive stories, songs, and crafts each week. This program helps children build school skills like letter recognition, listening, fine motor skills, and more. Each week focuses on a new “Letter of the Day” and includes a simple craft that can be completed with items from home. Caregivers will learn early literacy tips to prepare children for future reading success.
Get the wiggles out with music, interactive stories, and rhymes more week! Toddler Storytime is targeted to children ages 1-3 years old. Toddlers will build simple skills including counting, shapes, and colors.
